Cancer Association of Spartanburg & Cherokee Counties, Inc. presents
Dancing with the Spartanburg Stars
Hours: Mon-Thurs 8:30am-5:30pm Fri 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
Mitzi is dancing with Markis Allen. Mitzi Kirsch has grown up in Spartanburg. Her real estate career began as she worked in a real estate office as a teenager, and she has worked with her Mom in many facets of the business over the years. She has been selling residential, land, and commercial real estate for over thirty years.
Mitzi is the proud mother of two sons, Blake (20 years) and Brice (18 years). You do not have to be around her very long to learn that they are her life. She has been married for 27 years to Skip Kirsch. Their family attends Boiling Springs First Baptist Church. Mitzi serves not only on the board of the Cancer Association of Spartanburg and Cherokee Counties, but also the boards of BB&T, Springs Christian Day School, and the governing board of North Spartanburg Fire and Emergency Services.
Mitzi’s life has been heavily effected by the ravishes of cancer in recent years. She first lost her dear friend, Dena Henderson, to a long battle with Pancreatic Cancer before losing her God Mother, Linda Wilson, to Ovarian Cancer. After seeing several friends, family members, and clients affected by cancer, she truly wants to help raise awareness of this association. She was at first reluctant to take the stage, but she is proud to be dancing for those that hold such a meaningful place in her heart.
